Symposium: Exotic species and the WaterFrame Directive (WFD)

On the 10th December 2009 the Working group on Alien Species (NECOV / WEW) organises a symposium with as subject Exotic species and the WaterFrame Directive (WFD). Several people from CML contribute to this symposium.

The focus of the symposium is the negative consequences of the presence of exotic aquatic species in the evaluation of water quality according to the WFD. Also attention will be paid to new or conspicuous exotic species for the Netherlands in 2009, the so-called Exotic Parade 2009.
